OFFICIAL BULLETIN BOARD AND NOTICES
Prior to the competition, updates and information will be posted on the event web site (www.usjuniorchampionships.com).
The official bulletin board will be located in the lobby of the SLC Sports Complex. Any changes to the schedule will be posted and will prevail over other schedules. Competitors and coaches are responsible for checking the official bulletin board for current information and revisions.
CREDENTIALS
Each competitor, one official coach per entry, and one parent/chaperone per competitor will be provided with a complimentary credential. Credentials will be required for competitors and coaches to access the rink. Parent/chaperone credentials will not allow access rinkside, but will function as an All-Event Pass and allow access into the open seating area to watch events throughout the week. Coaches and skaters will not be allowed access to the lower level of the arena after the skater’s event ends.
Credentials are not be used by anyone other than the person to whom they are issued. Any abuse of credentials will result in the offender’s forfeiture of their credential. Lost credentials will be replaced for a fee of $50.
OPEN DRAW
Skaters will be seeded into qualifying round groups by the chief referee and the chief accountant based upon their placements at the regional championships. An initial open draw will take place at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. At the open draw, an official will draw on behalf of each skater, assigning skating order within each designated qualifying round group. Skaters are not required to attend, and will not participate in the initial open draw. Subsequent draws will occur at the SLC Sports Complex upon posting of qualifying events’ results, and again after results are posted for the first segment of a final round event. Draws will be open and performed according to Rules 3330 and 3360.
MUSIC
Singles competitors advancing from regional championship events will have their music retained and forwarded to the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships. All Pairs and Dance teams must include their music when submitting their Intent to Compete Form.
PLEASE NOTE:
Persons using checks without sufficient funds will be charged an additional $25.00 fee per check and all further payments must be made by money order or credit card. Skaters will not be allowed to practice or compete until all such debts are satisfied. |
